Part-time Manager
We're looking for a part-time manager to help run the shop floor — opening and closing, special orders, used-book intake, and helping the right reader find the right book. Familiarity with romantasy and contemporary romance a real plus.
What you'd do
- Open and close the store on assigned shifts
- Process new arrivals, restock shelves, manage used-book intake on Tuesdays
- Make personal recommendations for customers across fantasy and romance subgenres
- Coordinate with Caitlin and Taylor on event prep, signings, and book club
- Light social-media support — capturing photos for IG / TikTok and writing captions
What you bring
- Reliable in-person availability across at least three weekdays + one weekend day
- Strong reader background in romantasy, fantasy, or romance (we'll talk about your favourite slow burn)
- Comfortable on a POS and with light inventory work
- Friendly, patient, and good at remembering returning customers
